The Project… Outsource Plus have supported South Staffordshire Primary Care Trust in a widescale dental health promotional campaign. The aim of the campaign was to raise awareness of NHS dental vacancies with residents across the whole of the South Staffordshire region. Our team of promotional staff worked across the region distributing goody bags and leaflets in areas of high footfall such as shopping centres and local markets. Staff explained to passers-by the purposes of the campaign and the importance of being registered with a dentist. Results of this campaign have been immediate, with statistics showing that many people went straight to a local dental practice to register! After our first weekend of activity, a staggering 460 local people had visited their local NHS dentist to register for an appointment.
